Feeling anxious then buy this. Took me 3mins to find HB when I was 16wks. Down naval nr bikini line &then move slightly L/R. Dont worry if cant locate immed. Watch youtube demo to distinguish between placenta noise, swooshing, own heart beat & BABY HB. Yr looking for 120-160bm. Would have found it more helpful had this info been supplied. I will be 21 weeks on Friday and this Item is great. I use it every day and it gives me the piece of mind i need as this is my first pregnancy and i previously had a miscarriage. These are indeed a double edged sword. The product works. And to hear your baby is amazing. But the earlier you try the harder it is to hear and the more difficult to find. You almost have to promise yourself that if you can't find it, you won't drive yourself crazy worrying.
I found mine at 10+1, after 3 different attempts bearing in mind the product says from 12 weeks. If you have patience and do your research about what sounds to listen for (there's lots of sounds down there -including your own heartbeat) and where to look (it's much lower than you think) then you will find it eventually. But there's always a risk baby is hiding. I think the key is, especially if you're looking early: if you find it, it's amazing piece of mind, if you can't find it, don't panic and try again tomorrow.
So I won't preach about whether you should or shouldn't buy, but the product works, is easy to use, and completely and utterly priceless to me, I get reassurance from it every couple of days. Good luck!

I am the biggest worrier... my midwife advised me not to buy a Doppler monitor incase I cannot find the heartbeat and worry even more but I gave in to temptation in the end and was the best thing I did! Literally found the heartbeat straight away and can now relax and enjoy my pregnancy instead of constantly panicking! :)
Excellent device, it took a while but i found my babies heartbeat at 9 weeks, was amazing. Gives me peace of mind aswell knowing I can listen whenever I like :)
